A Message from our President:

​​Welcome to the Ridgeview Middle School PTA website, where Panther Pride is strong!

​

If you are looking for all things RMS PTA, you're in the right place! This website is where you can find announcements and information regarding school and community events, RMS Spirit Wear, PTA membership, and much more.

​​​

PTA's mission is to be a powerful voice for all children, a relevant resource for families and communities, and a strong advocate for the education and wellbeing of every child. The Ridgeview Middle School PTA is dedicated to providing students with the materials and opportunities they need to excel in school, at home, and in our community. 

​​​

We are working hard to put together a calendar full of quality programming and fun events for all our students this year. We'll also do our best to make sure our teachers and staff know how much we all appreciate them!

 

The Ridgeview PTA stays busy all year long. Some of our initiatives include: funding for classroom and school needs not covered by the state; student programs, such as the Panthers In Action community service program, the A.L.L.S.T.A.R.S. student leadership program, and the Reflections arts program; student socials and dances; teacher and staff appreciation events​; STAAR testing support; scholarships for graduating seniors who attended Ridgeview; and more.

We couldn't do any of these things without the help of our members, supporters, sponsors, and volunteers. We truly value all of your input, time, and contributions--thank you!!

Want to get more involved with the RMS PTA? We would love to have you! Here are some things you can do to help us support our students, staff, and school:

​

• Become an RMS PTA member. Parents, students, grandparents, friends, neighbors, and community members are all welcome! There are no further obligations once you join (but plenty of opportunities if you're interested!). All student members are invited to participate in our excellent student programs. You can join us here!

​

• Participate in fundraising efforts. The Panther Pride Donation Drive is going on now! Instead of asking students to sell anything, we are cutting out the middleman and simply requesting donations to benefit our school. All donations are tax-deductible, and 100% of the funds raised go to Ridgeview! We will also hold several Restaurant Spirit Nights throughout the year, so please keep an eye out for details about those.

• Volunteer. Come once for an hour, or as often as your schedule allows---every contribution of time makes a difference! For more information, please click on the "Volunteer" tab above.

​

• Follow us on social media. You can find us on Facebook (@RidgeviewMiddleSchoolPTA) and Instagram (@ridgeviewpta).

​

• Apply for a position on the PTA board. We still have a few openings available, with varying levels of commitment required. Please email me (president@ridgeviewpta.org) if you are interested in learning more!​
